Eluvium‘s new album Similes isn’t available until tomorrow (February 23rd, but two tracks have already received videos. “Leaves Eclipse the Light” was the first, and now the video for “The Motion Makes Me Last” can be seen after the jump. It’s an interesting, single-shot video of a city skyline – presumably Portland, the hometown of Eluvium’s Matthew Cooper.

Black Gold are getting ready to head out on their first national tour of the U.S. with Sherwood, both bands playing a similar vein of piano-rock that translates so well to a live show. For those of us in the Boston-area, the tour will stop by The Armory in Somerville on March 14th, which is a shame considering I’ll be in London at that time. I’ve been meaning to catch another Sherwood show, and now I’ll have to wait until they come around again.

As for Black Gold, they’d be an added bonus. I haven’t heard their album Rush, but I like what I’m hearing in the video for “Shine.” It premiered on Spinner in the early days of this month, and you can watch it after the jump.
