Team Ghost is the new project of Nicolas Fromageau, whom you may recognize as a founding member of M83. He left before the recording of 2005’s Before The Dawn Heals Us, and I don’t remember hearing much from him since. Now, backed by multi-instrumentalist Christophe Guérin and Jean-Philippe Talaga, Fromageau returns with “Colors In Time.” The song comes from the band’s debut EP, You Never Did Anything Wrong To Me, due out April 26th on Sonic Cathedral Records.

Jónsi stopped by the Jo Wiley Show on BBC Radio 1 this past weekend, where he was nice enough to grace us with this in studio cover of “Time To Pretend” by MGMT. With just a piano to accompany him, Jónsi’s falsetto soars and the end result is gorgeous.

Jónsi’s debut solo album, Go, is due out April 6th via XL Recordings.

Aloha will release their fifth studio album, Home Acres, on March 9th via Polyvinyl. “Moonless March” goes against the delicate arrangements Aloha is best known for, instead immediately launching into the thick of things. I don’t hate it – take a listen below.

The night of April 18th will find Aloha and Pomegranates, who released the spectacular Everybody Come Outside in 2009, at the Middle East in Cambridge.

Man/Miracle‘s jangly guitars mingle amongst hand claps and group vocals, promising that their new album The Shape of Things should be a meandering, cacophonous pop affair. Which means, of course, that I’ll listen to the album non-stop for a few weeks while praying that the boys play a show in Boston. Listen to “Hot Sprawl” below; The Shape of Things hits shelves this Tuesday (February 23rd) via Third Culture Records.
