Andrew Jackson Jihad are planning a trio of releases in 2010: a live LP and two split 7″s. The live LP was recorded after their performance at The Fest 7 – it saw a limited release during The Fest 8 this past year, and will get a wider release this month thanks to Asbestos Records. February should see the release of a split 7″ with Chicago’s The Gunshy via Silver Sprocket Records. Lastly (and perhaps the release I’m most excited for), AJJ will team up with O Pioneers!!! for a split (7″? LP?) that will get a vinyl release via No Idea Records. No exact release dates for any of these, which is unfortunate, but I’ll be on the lookout for that news.

As I await the release of their debut full-length, I know that Man Overboard's soon-to-be-released album Before We Met: A Collection Of Old Songs will receive a lot of play time from my iTunes. With catchy hooks and harmonies, this is pop-punk done right.
