“Blessa” is taken from Toro Y Moi‘s upcoming full-length Causers of This, due out February 2nd (available digitally now) via Carpark Records. The song is similar in sound to that of Memory Tapes; a mix of synth, guitar and electronic beats still lacking an officially named genre (I’ve heard it called chillwave, and more recently glo-fi).
Toro Y Moi and Ruby Sons will be touring together starting in March, including a stop at SXSW. Those dates can be seen after the jump. On March 27th, the tour will be in Cambridge for a show at The Middle East.
